NEWSLETTER – JUNE, 2013
JESUS IS LORD MINISTRIES UGANDA
When we finished the building of Florence Bengo’s house 13th April 2013, we took a brief tour in the village; we did not know that God was leading us to help another widow who urgently needs help!
God led us to this widow called Rachael Nabiry who is blind of 86 years, she is staying with two of her daughters children who died of AIDS and they are the ones who are now taking care of her which has made these children not to get a chance of going to school. The whole house needs to be renovated, the roof links when it rains which causes them not sleep some times when it rains at night. We need your support to help Rachael and we can do it with your support.
Name: Rachael Nabiry
Health Status: Blindness and advanced age

This is the picture of her full house which she sleeps in with those two kids. The iron sheets of the roof are all very old and they leak when it rains. The whole roof needs to be removed and then replace a new one and that is what we need to do for her – if you can help us to do it.
House that needs a new roof.
Rachel’s bed on the floor
Rachael and the kids sleep down on the floor, as you can see her old mattress in the photo! She really needs your support and we are requesting that you give what you can for this widow and the children.
We sat as a committee and made a budget for renovating Rachael’s house as shown below and you can pick to buy an item of your choice,

On 24th /may/2013, Our team which is concerned about the children went to shop for scholastic materials for our 50 children since their holidays was coming to an end and they were supposed to go back to school on Monday 27th may/2013. The following items were bought:
2. Mathematical sets
3. Pens and pencils
We supplied these scholastic materials in two districts — that is to say: Jinja and Mayuge district, with each child receiving the following items:
1. Four books
2. Three pens
3. Three pencils
JINJA DISTRICT. In the village of Wairaka Jinja district, on May 25th we supplied scholastic materials to over 64 children. 35 were our registered children and 29 others were children of the widows we help.
MAYUGE DISTRICT. In Wandago village Mayuge district, on 26th we gave out scholastic materials to 16 children (orphans and vulnerable). Due to the limited finances we are unable to buy school bags and shoes for them and we are requesting that you help us in any way that you can so that we can meet all the needs of these children.

The only way to see big change happen in this world is if we work together. That is the principle that we stand on in everything that we do. The small things in life are often the things that we underestimate. However, if someone sponsors a child for only $45 monthly, this amount of money can make all the difference in a child’s life. This is because with that amount, the child is taken to school, provided with proper clothing, shown that people care, and gets his or her basic needs met. We have 50 orphans and all of them need sponsors. I believe we can help all these children!
Please let’s make a world of difference to someone struggling, we will sometimes be the difference between survival and death.
